Miss Jacqueline Joyce Copeland, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Arnold Copeland of 43 Oakwood Ave., Rye, became the bride Sunday of Russell S. Beecher of Cambridge, Mass. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Beecher of Woburn, Mass. Judge Albert L. Florillo officiated at the ceremony which was held at Schrafft's Eastchester. The bride wearing an empire gown of white peau de sole, trimmed In Alencon lace with cut beads and pearls, and crowned by an orange blossom spray holding her silk Illusion veil, was given in marriage by her father. The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Miss Jill Copeland. Two of the bride's friends acted as bridesmaids: Miss Kathleen Moaer of Hook Road, Rye, and Miss Judith Fast of Tamarack Road, Port Chester. The maid of honor and the two bridesmaids wore long blue gowns with turquoise satin trim and matching headpieces. The bridegroom's brother, Daniel Beecher of Woburn, was the best man; the bride's brother, Arthur Copeland was the usher. Mrs. Beecher is a junior at Simmons College, Boston. Mr Beecher graduated from Harvard College cum laude. He is attending the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The Beechers wlll honeymoon in San Juan, Puerto Rico, before returning to reside In Cambridge, Mass.
