Leo Brendlinger, 86, widower of Edna (Beecher) Brendlinger, Reading and a native of Pottstown. died Friday in Reading Hospital, where he was a patient for a week. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Brendlinger. He was employed as secretary-treasurer of Yocom Brothers Cigar Factory, Reading, until his retirement in 1956. Surviving are a son, James M., Laureldale; a daughter, Mary J., wife of Francis H. Adams, with whom he resided; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a. m. Tuesday from the Sanders Funeral Home, Reading. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery. A viewing will be 7 to 9 p. m. Monday in the funeral home.

Leo married Edna Whitman Beecher, daughter of William Ayers Beecher and Emma Laura Whitman.
