1. Newspaper: Lebanon Courier: Young Boy Run Over, 8 May 1907, Lebanon, Lebanon, PA. ⁷ Young Boy Run Over.
Charles, the three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Biecher, living in Fally alley, two doors south of Lehman, on Thursday, while playing before his home, was run over by a delivery wago of H. B. Shirk & Brother, who have a meat shop at 1014 Cumberland street.
The team had been driven into Fally alley from Lehman street, and the little fellow could not get out of the way in time to avoid being run over. The wheels passed over his right leg at the hip and between the knee and ankle, causing a fracture at both places.
Realizing the seriousness of the case, Dr. E. H. Gingrich directed the removal of the little sufferer to the Good Samaritan hospital, where he is receiving attention.
