5. Newspaper: Pottsville Republican: Boxing Match, 1 Jun 1920, Pottsville, Schuylkill, PA. ¹⁶ Leo Houck, of Lancaster, and K. O. Sullivan, of Shenandosh, put on a great bout last night at the opening show of the LIberty A. C. outdoors, held at Railway Park. In the opening bout Young Beacher and Young Ruch were in it strong and with Ruch going good, Beacher seemed like he was going the voyage. Just then the lights at the ringside went out and the bout was stopped. After about ten minutes the necessary electric repairs were made and the pair mixed it up again. Both went down in the second round and the crowd were amused. The third was Beacher's round and in the 4th round, Ruch paid his respects to the canvass that covers the arena, Beacher coming out with a kayo victory.
