• Obituary: The Gospel Herald, 17 Nov 1932. 2 Phares B. Bucher, a faithful member of the Mennonite Church, was born Feb. 14, 1855; died at the home of his son, Ira Bucher of Lititz, Pa., Oct. 24, 1932; aged 77 y. 8 m. 10 d. Although he was confined to his bed for one year, he suffered little pain. He is survived by three children: Sue and Elam Bucher, both of Lebanon Co., Pa., and Ira Bucher, Lititz, Pa.; also one brother and five sisters survive. Funeral services were held Oct. 27 from the home, with further services at the Lititz Mennonite Church. Interment in the Hammer Creek Cemetery. Bros. John S. Hess and Noah Landis officiated. May the Lord bless the son and his companion for the tender care given to the father during his illness.
